GOOD SAMARITAN FUND

A small kitten has been found in a dumpster. An old dog with severe skin disease has been found in the backyard. While hiking, a young couple finds a middle-aged lab with a large wound on its leg.

These are just a few of the many cases we are challenged with weekly. Each animal is without an owner to pay for the costs of this animal's care. Each one has a problem that is medically curable. Each one will probably find a loving home once it has recovered. We are exceptionally proud of the literally hundreds of animals our staff has nurtured and found loving homes for.

Because we are the only 24-hour facility in the mid-Willamette Valley most animals found injured are carried through our doors. We try our very best to extend care to all living beings, regardless of the financial situation of the human caretaker. Please help us maintain this level of care to those animals that do not have owners.

Any and all donations can make a significant difference. $5 can pay for antibiotics for the found kitten,$50 can pay for the medications for the old dog's skin, $100 can pay for the surgery on the middle-aged lab. All of these are procedures are performed on a volunteer basis by our staff and veterinarians.

Please help these animals in need by contributing what you can to the WVC Good Samaritan Fund.
